William B. Rowley
Director; Chairman, Incentive & Compensation Committee

Bill Rowley is president and owner of Mercury Plastics, Inc., in Middlefield, Ohio. He began his career at Mercury, a family owned company, after graduating from Miami University of Ohio. Under his leadership, Mercury has grown from $1 million to $35 million in sales.

Bill's career has focused on innovation. Mercury has an extensive portfolio of intellectual property, with patents both issued and pending, in addition to many others in development. Mercury initiated a unique and successful collaboration with Kent State University to build and develop uses for an electron beam. Today, Bill serves as chairman of this partnership, NEO Beam Alliance Ltd.

Bill is past president of the Society of Plastics Industry and was the youngest member ever to serve on its board of directors.

Bill has been involved with the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) for more than 20 years, where he conceived, founded and managed the Inventory of Skills Foundation, a non-profit, confidential networking resource providing immediate access to peers' expertise and preferential access to the world's top medical facilities. He has received many awards for his work on behalf of YPO, including that organization's highest honor, the Hickok Distinguished Service Award.

In 1997 Bill was named the Northeast Ohio Entrepreneur of the Year, and in 2005 Bill received the Steve D. Bullock Humanitarian Award from the Greater Cleveland Chapter of the American Red Cross. He serves on the board of Simplimatic Automation as well as several Cleveland-area boards, including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.

He is a graduate of the Harvard Business School's Owner/President Management Program.
